Coach Scott Williamson started his athletic training career while in college getting his degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. After several injuries, he moved to Canada to focus on others, where he would rehab his knee from old injuries yet again.
Upon returning to college in Virginia, he suffered another injury, was forced to retire, and turned his focus toward his passion of sport and helping others in the health industry. Before receiving his degree, he worked in the field of physical therapy conducting rehab programs and FCE's (functional capacity evaluations). Although he enjoyed the rehab sector, he quickly recognized his passion and ability for personal and athletic training.
Coach Scott, not only brings over 15 years experience and knowledge in strength and conditioning, agility, speed, and power performance techniques in his training, but also includes his gained knowledge in key rehab elements for those athletes recovering and returning from sport injuries.
In addition to training youth athletes, Coach Scott is also the head powerlifting coach for the local Special Olympics Powerlifting team, and recently led 3 athletes to place in the state power lifting finals.
